Smooth Skin using Graftobian HD Cream Palette

Cream Foundation: Yes or No?...
For a very long time now my makeup routine consists of eyeshadows, blushers, lipsticks, and of course my BB Cream. I swear by my BB cream because I don't break out due to my weird skin type.  Sometimes I'm oily, dry, or combination.  I have tried different types of foundation, from Bare Escentuals to Makeup Forever's liquid foundation but I was never satisfied on how it looks on my skin until I found Graftobian HD Creme Foundation Palette.

They have 10 different shades from neutral, cool, and warm which consist of 5 colors in a palette. Each of the shades are also available in airbrush makeup. For my skin tone I ordered the warm palette #2 and it is a perfect match!  I highlight my face with the lightest color and contour with the darkest. For the price of $23 you can play around with it until you find a shade that suits you. Remember, you only need a tiny bit and it goes a long way or you can build it up as needed.

Before putting any makeup on your face I recommend using a primer. It doesn't matter if it is mineral foundation or liquid foundation. I use a concealer brush to glide it on my face and blend it with a stippling brush or my beauty blender. Either way it will give you that smooth amazing finish.  With Graftobian Creme Foundation my skin looked so radiant and healthy. Graftobian is one of the brands make up artist use for t.v, theatrical, fashion like Kryolan and Ben Nye. I am so happy with this foundation for a low price the quality is outstanding!!! I don't think I can ever go back to my BB cream after this.

I have added my before and after photos below, keep in mind I did NOT do any retouched on the photos.

(without makeup, as you can see I have some freckles)

Since I am absolutely hooked on this foundation I can't wait to get my hands on their other products.  I actually bought one of their lip color palette in Fashion and I will be doing a review on that as well.

*The company did not send me this product. I bought it with my own money and I gave my honest opinion.

M·A·C Perfectly Plush Brush in Mineralize and Advanced Kit

I have been anticipating The M.A.C Special Editions brush kits which usually comes out on holidays.  This years Special Edition is called The 'Perfectly Plush' and it comes in 3 different kits. The 3 kits are called: Essentials, Mineralize and Advanced . Just couple days ago I purchased 2 of their kits, Mineralize $49.50 and Advanced, thinking I would save money buying the kits compare to the individual brushes.  Mac has the famous 217 blending brush which I wanted to get as well as the 130 short duo fibre brush.  One of their artist informed me about the kits which included the 217 brush in the Advanced kit and the 130 brush in the Mineralize kit.

As you can see in the photo they look adorable, keep in mind the handles are shorter compare to the full size brushes. The yellow kit on the left is the Advance and the light brown on the right is the Mineralize.  The case it came with has a leopard print and depending on what kit you get the colors are different as well. The green one that isn't in the photo is the Essential Kit.  Below is the how the inside of the case it came with. You can put a lipstick, eyeshadow, and a mascara on the little pouch with the button.

I quickly rushed home after purchasing these brushes, I was so excited at the fact that I saved money buying the kits rather than buying the M.A.C brushes individually.

As I inspected the brushes one by one I was so DISAPPOINTED! The quality of the brushes were not at par with the full size M.A.C brushes.  The face brushes felt stiff and scratchy. Don't get me wrong they are functional but not the same like the full size.  I really wanted to like them but I would rather spend my money and invest on great quality brushes than settle for something mediocre, so back to the store they go. I questioned one of the artist why those brush kits weren't as great as the regular ones. She explained that the kits are made in a machine and the individual brushes are hand-made to perfection. So I exchanged the kits to the full size 217, 219, and 231 brushes and I have never been so happy with my purchase.
